WEIGHT LOSS CAMP (WC)

 In our experience, diet, exercise or medications alone end with frustrating results.  Dr. Sheta devised a unique program to maximize every component of weight-loss.

Over the three days, you will spend 24 hours in our Spa facility stimulating your metabolism, burning fat and losing weight fast in this intensive outpatient program.  You will be continually monitored by Dr. Sheta personally as you progress through caloric burning regimens and cool downs that produces rapid fat-loss over  the period.

 You will need to have a friend or relative drive you to and from the Spa, as the medications will make you a bit tired at days-end.

The aim of the program is to induce fat loss instead of water-weight loss, which should result in the burning of between 10,000 to 15,000 calories per day.

Results will vary by patient, but the average loss will be between 8 and 15 pounds.

In order to maximize your weight loss, Dr. Sheta's unique program incorporates the following:

Medically supervised fasting over the 3 days to shrink your stomach and induce ketosis

  • Ketosis occurs when the body's processing of nutrient materials for the release of energy depends predominantly on the use of fats. In the absence of a dietary carbohydrate supply for maintaining blood sugar, or if sugars cannot be utilized normally, fuel must come from stored fat and muscle protein.
  • Supervised endurance exercise to increase caloric loss.  You will spend considerable time on our treadmills, stationary bicycles and alternate between jaccuzi sessions, cold wraps, heat and ice baths to expend the maximum amount of energy during your workouts.
  • Appetite Suppressants will reduce your cravings during the fast and will continue a week after your Spa visit.
  • You will receive a sedative in the evenings after your workout to ensure recovery and decrease the possibility of cheating while at home.
  • Vitamin B-12 shots will enhance your metabolism and stimulate weight loss
  • Frequent measurements of vital signs will ensure your safety and that you are burning fat quickly (We also monitor your blood sugar and take urine samples to test for ketone levels). 

Day 1

Upon arrival at the Spa, you will be given a complete physical, weigh-in and orientation.  Before beginning your workouts begin on day two, it will be necessary to fill out the New Patient Form and waiver and process your paperwork.

Once your check-in and physical are complete, Dr. Sheta will consult with you and administer medication, ensure you bring the proper clothing to the Spa.  You will also receive a colon cleanse to purge unprocessed materials.

You will be given medications for the evening and need to have a friend or relative pick you up from today's session.


Days 2 and 3

You will weigh-in upon arrival and debrief with Dr. Sheta, who will also  perform a follow-up physical and check your vital signs.  The day's activities will be outlined and you will start your workouts.  Phentermine will be administered each morning.

Each day will consist of workouts on the treadmill and stationary bicycle. Following this session, you will cool down in cold wrap to stimulate skin expansion and contraction. A warm-up will ensue and again you will return to your workout.  For the remainder of the day, you will alternate between jaccuzi sessions, cold wraps, heat and ice baths to expend the maximum amount of energy during your workouts.

You will spend time in the Spa getting a body sculpting treatments that will stimulate fat-loss in your problem areas.

At the end of the day, you will be given medication to sleep in the evening and return early next day.
